As part of our podcast series supported by Science 14, we discuss with Professor Nasser Hadian, Professor of Political Science at the University of Tehran, about future prospects of the Iran nuclear deal. The issues we focused on are the impact of the outcome of the US presidential elections on further talks over the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), assessment of the EU’s involvement in the nuclear talks and Iran’s expectations from the EU’s further involvement as well as current internal dynamics in Iran in light of the upcoming 2021 presidential elections and its potential effects on the JCPOA.
