As part of the Talking Geopolitics Podcast Series, we talked with Marc Finaud on the European Union engagement in the Middle East Weapons of Mass Destruction Free Zone establishment process. We addressed the role of the European Union in the ME WMDFZ initiative, considering the achievements made so far in the arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament field and the main challenges ahead. In conclusion, Mr Finaud provided enriching insights about the path forward for the European Union Foreign Policy in this respect.

Adelaide Rabino has achieved an advanced education in international affairs and security studies through a BA in International Science, Development and Cooperation and a MA in Strategic Sciences. Moreover, Adelaide has further deepened her knowledge through different international courses, among which the OSCE-UNODA Scholarship for Peace and Security. Her main areas of interest are international security, peace, conflict and related issues. Currently, she is interested in researching the development of the complex international security scenario, focusing specifically on – but certainly not limited to – arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament.
