As part of our “Talking Geopolitics” series, we had the privilege of interviewing Iulian Groza, Executive Director of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms in Moldova, and former Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Moldova, responsible for European integration and international law. Our conversation centered around Moldova’s energy security challenges, and the role the EU is playing in helping the country deal with Russia’s hybrid war. We also explored recent developments in Moldova, such as the agreements with Transnistria and energy infrastructure, and discussed the potential benefits of the Three Seas Initiative for integrating Moldova into the regional cooperation.
