Michael Pitsounis
Michael Pitsounis recently graduated from Leiden University and holds a master’s degree in International Relations with a specialisation in “Global Conflict in the Modern Era”. In his master thesis, Michael conducted a comparative case study between the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014 and the Turkish invasion of Northern Cyprus in 1974. His research interests include International Relations theory, comparative politics and international security. Michael speaks Greek, English and has a basic knowledge of French and German.
