Training Overview
Brussels Academy which equips professionals with skills that will facilitate their access to the job market via structured training sessions and mentorship programs. Within this scope, a professional training session on fundraising is being offered in cooperation with Vocal Europe.
The training aims at providing a thorough understanding of strategic approach to fundraising for difficult causes, and how to engage individual donors to generate unrestricted (flexible) income to support your organisation.
After attending this session, the newly trained participants will be able to:
- Discover specificities of fundraising for difficult (non-mainstream) causes
- Formulate a fundraising strategy for their organisation
- Understand effective fundraising communication and tools to raise unrestricted funds
This training session aims to provide participants with the expertise required to apply for the following positions:
- CEOs responsible for resource mobilisation.
- Fundraisers and development staff passionate about their causes.
- Project managers and/or other staff in charge of raising funding.
- Board members involved in donor relations.
Target Audience
- Advocacy organisations, think-tanks and other NGOs, CSOs and individuals working with difficult (non-mainstream) causes
- European networks/associations of member organisations
