As part of our Monday Talks Series, we talked with Dr Benedetta Berti, Head of Policy Planning in the Office of the Secretary General at NATO, on NATO’s 2022 Strategic Concept. We discussed how different this Strategic Concept is to previous ones because of Russia’s war against Ukraine. We also touched upon Ukraine’s NATO prospects. Dr Berti provided insights into the mention of China in the Strategic Concept for the first time in NATO’s history, and the possibilities for EU/NATO cooperation.
