The Vocal Europe Team is delighted to invite you to a conference with the aim to discuss the foundations for a full European and sovereign Nation, truly democratic and inclusive for all Ukrainian citizens, decentralised, and, above all, a secure Ukraine.
As a follow-up to the last webinar organised by Vocal Europe on Ukraine’s candidacy to join the EU. MEP Helmut Geuking (EPP Group) in collaboration with the Think-Tank Vocal Europe, is organising a conference entitled “Rebuilding a sovereign and independent Ukraine, towards a sustainable European perspective“.
The hybrid conference will tackle some very serious issues facing the reality of Ukraine nowadays and make suggestions on how the European Union, European Union countries, and other European countries could help to provide, at the end of the war, the best conditions for a sustainable european perspective:
- Long-term guarantees for the security of Ukraine in its relations with its neighbouring countries ;
- Establishing rule of law and a democratic political scene/freedom of expression and rights of the opposition, rights of the minorities;
- Real freedom of the media, supporting free media and independent journalists;
- Fight against corruption and transparency of the Economy;
- Social dialogue and a free civil society;
- Decentralisation, regionalisation, and local democracy (Municipalities and Regions).
